“MillionEuroMan” asked:
What kind of functions does your employees have? What do they do
I have employees of various skills. Some of them write content for me, some do directory-submission sort of SEO, some are good at social networking and some at getting backlinks for various websites.
“Ravi” asked:
You said you have a company and you work individually as well. You have shown many times how much you make from adsense. But what about your company? Does it make anything from Adsense?
Oh yes, it does make money through adsense. My recent check (for the month of March 2008) for the company is of Rs. 1,631,935.36 (equivalent to $40,941.68). Here is a pic for you, I just took.

“Justin” asked:
I was wondering if you could make a post about how you do your link building for your websites. I now have around 75 sites but it’s difficult to maintain all of them. The problem is finding a good outsourcing person to do the job right.
I already have a post on it. Please follow it at my link building strategy.
“SEO in Toronto” asked:
Question about your adsense earning.
Where are the ads layed out and what type of ad blocks are getting the best conversion? I know Google has a hot map feature but you seem to have a real life hot map example with those earning figures.
I mostly place 300×250 ads, left aligned, “in the content” of the page, mostly in the top 500 pixels. That works best with content sites. Also, tiny banner ads (234×60) can also bring in good cash if they are built into somewhere in the content (below 500 pixels, where there is normally no other ads). It should be left aligned in the content. These works great for pages where you have some long page content on the site. For graphics related sites, I use 120×600 and 728×90.
“Debt Cures” asked:
I have a question about staying focused. Since there are so many ways to make money online, how do you focus on just one and ride it for all it’s worth? I currently have a few sites that make a few dollars each each day.
I like this because if one goes down, all my income does not drop.
But many will tell you that if you focus, you will make more money.
Thoughts? Suggestions?
“Leverage and Outsource” - Those are the keywords, I think. Who says I am focussed. Did you realize that how often I make posts on this blog. When I am focused, I make two posts a day. When I am not, there are no posts for a week. Its is perfectly OK not to be remain focused all the time. But find somebody who is focused on the work when you are not.
“Tanvir @bareFly.com” asked:
Thanks for the answers jim. I appreciate that a lot. Do I have to post regularly on the 5 new blogs or it’s okay if I update them once every week?
Your own choice. Write them when you feel like writing. When you feeling for writing, you will get more ideas. Just put them in the blog post and give them advance date, so that they get published when you are not so much focussed on writing.
“colbert” asked:
I noticed at the end of the comments, there is a line that says “Sponsored links from google adsense.†Is that aligned with the Google TOS ?
Yes, it is. Google allows you to put “Sponsored links” or “Sponsors” as the title for their ads.
“Geme” asked:
Can you tell me your websites’ traffic sources?
100% organic. around 75% from search engines, and 15% direct and other websites.
“SteeL” asked:
Q: CJ.com doesnt works well for me ?
Brief query: I get daily 50k IMPRESSIONS on CJ.com affiliates with abt daily 10-15 clicks, but it’s been now 2months i didnt got a Penny from CJ.com for those clicks.
Jim, can you tell me how does CJ.com affilieats work ?
CJ works like any other affiliate network, where you send related traffic to their advertisers and they pay you if that traffic converts (buys something or provide some information (lead)). CJ (or any other affiliate network) will not work on every type of site. You have to analyze the content of your website and see whether the visitor on your website is in “exploring and finding information” mindset, or is in “buying” mindset. For example, website based on keyword “essay writing service” is much more likely to convert through affiliate programs (and hence CJ) than website based on keyword “sample essays”, because the person searching for “essay writing service” is in much more buying mindset then the person searching for “sample essays.”
So, thats it for now. If you have any more questions, just ask me.
